Droid Technologies designed and developed a cloud-connected mmWave radar system based on the Texas Instruments IWR6843AOP platform for real-time object detection, tracking, and edge data processing.
The radar performs on-board signal processing and object tracking, then sends processed data to the cloud through an ESP32-based Wi-Fi connection. The system integrates with AWS cloud services using MQTTS and HTTPS for secure telemetry, remote monitoring, device management, and OTA firmware updates.
The ESP32 also provides Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity, allowing configuration and parameter adjustment from a mobile phone.
Droid Technologies delivered hardware design, PCB development, embedded firmware, radar integration, ESP32 connectivity, AWS cloud integration, BLE configuration, OTA implementation, and complete system testing.
