Droid Technologies designed and developed a multimedia control system for heat pumps and complete heating systems, enabling local touchscreen control, cloud connectivity, and integration with building automation platforms.
The device is based on an STM32H7 main controller and uses the TouchGFX framework for a modern graphical interface on a touchscreen display. An ESP32 provides Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity.
The controller supports AWS cloud integration using MQTTS and HTTPS, enabling secure remote monitoring, configuration, and OTA firmware updates. It manages heat pump operation, heating zones, hot water, cooling, and pump groups through an intuitive HMI.
The system also integrates with external automation platforms, making it suitable for smart HVAC and building energy management applications.
Droid Technologies delivered hardware design, PCB development, embedded firmware, touchscreen GUI development, TouchGFX implementation, AWS cloud integration, Wi-Fi/BLE connectivity, and full system integration.
