Type of the testing
Before doing any testing we need to know the testing and certification type(s) that should be done
Pre-testing in our laboratory
Before making the precertification testing in the certificated laboratory, we do pre-testing in our laboratory with our equipment. For an example, we could do some initial testing of EMC with our spectroanalyzer(100 kHz to 24 GHz) with different antennas or thermal testing with our thermal camera
Testing in the certificated laboratory
As our initial testing was done and no issues occurred, we rent an external certificated laboratory in Kyiv and do pre-certification testing with a deep report
Fixing issues
As the pre-certification testing was done and found issues, we make deep analyses to find the source of the issues. In the same time, we try to fix ones with the current version of the hardware (solder some additional components, reduce power, make tuning antennas, make corrections of the firmware, etc). As the source was fixed, we update the hardware (if required) and do the new testing until everything works well
Certification
At this stage, we prepare a few devices and documentation to send to the certification company that has a license. Of course, when the certification company makes the testing, we provide full support with the testing until pass the certification
